We hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and as we approach the last ½ term of the summer may we remind everyone about the use of sun cream, and to send children to Preschool with sunhats too – the weather has a habit of changing even if not sunny first thing.
Topics & Themes
For the last half term as mentioned in our last news the theme will be around transport.
Week 1: We are looking to the skies & traveling by aeroplane!! Our duckling eggs arrive this week too.
Week 2: We move onto the water, so lots of exploring and messy times ahead.
Week 3: The skies and beyond into space
Week 4: This week we will be looking at anything that moves on our roads, and will be traveling ourselves by coach to ‘imagine that’ on Friday 28th June.
Week 5: We are looking at ways we can transport ourselves either by foot, cycling, running and walking, especially on Wednesday 3rd July when we will be taking a walk around the countryside, we plan to leave Preschool at 12 noon taking a picnic lunch in a back pack, consent forms will need to be signed by parents/carers of all the children going on the walk.
Week 6: Onto the railway now. The older children will be taking a ride by train to Delamere this week.
Week 7: For our last week we will be having a teddy bears picnic on Wednesday 17th July and saying goodbye to our school leavers, there will be a small presentation at 2.45pm for these children and if the parents/carers would like to attend please speak to a member of staff.
Please remember whilst shopping online, simply log on to www.easyfundraising.org.uk and register Moulton Pre-School as your chosen charity. This website has links for hundreds of on-line stores including eBay, Amazon, John Lewis, and Argos. The online stores will indicate how much they will donate to us at no extra cost to you!
This is a very easy way for you to help our funds and possibly win something too. There are some numbers still available, Contact Auntie Sam for more information. Numbers cost £1.00 each. If you would like to set up a standing order please speak to Auntie Gill or Auntie Sam for further details.
We hope you have a lovely summer and look forward to seeing most of you back in September.
