We have been very pleased and excited with the support you have given to the children. Following our rhyme challenge we would therefore like to invite one member from each child’s family, to come along for 15 minutes before the end of one of the sessions your child attends during the week, beginning 26 March to join in singing with the children and celebrating with them. Due to the limited space if you could let me know which day would be most suitable for you to come to this would help enormously.

We have also some very exciting things coming up over the next few weeks a s we will be looking at “people who help us” starting with doctors and nurses, if the children would like to bring a doll or teddy along we are sure we will be able to make them better!!!.

We will then be looking at 999 services and hopefully having a few visits from people in uniform. Then we will be concentrating on Easter.

Important dates for your diary:

• On Wednesday, 14 March we will be joining ‘Little Gems’ at St Stephens - non Wednesday children are very welcome to join us.
• On Thursday, 15 March we will be taking a walk around the countryside – time to be confirmed.
• Tuesday, 1 May & Friday 4 May we will be having our stars photographs taken.
• Monday, 21 May Debbie from Tempest will be back to take individual and family photographs (in Main Hall)
• Tuesday, 15 May we are holding a very informal parents evening from 6pm – 8pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to have a look around, see your child’s learning journey and chat to the staff. If you particularly wish to speak to your child’s key worker a time slot can be arranged, please let us know if this is your wish.
• Friday 18 May – train trip to Delamere Forest.
• Wednesday, 4 July – Toddle Waddle at Chester Zoo – open to everyone – A great day out for all the family and also a wonderful fundraiser for both Preschool and Dr Barnardo’s too.
